The ancient Babylonians used fingerprints pressed into clay tablets to sign off business transactions. The famous Ewok creatures from Star Wars are not actually named as such in any of the movies. A Basking shark's liver accounts for one quarter of its 5 ton body weight!

While Sherlock Holmes may have said “Elementary” and “My dear Watson” separately throughout the original stories, he never said “Elementary, my dear Watson,” altogether.

I saw an article once that made it clear: How overwhelmingly were the Ewoks marketed by Lucasfilm? Ewok is a household name — and it’s never once mentioned in any of the Star Wars films.

But did you know that the primitive attributes given to the Ewoks were originally considered for the Wookiees before Chewbacca became such a popular character? So, the Wookiees became more advanced and the primitiveness were given to the Ewoks. Note Wook-E == Ewok. Scary. Lucas came up with all his creature names when he was four. :-)

The post above about Hawaii Five-0 is wrong…first of all, it’s McGarrett not Garret, and he did say “Book ’em, Danno” quite a few times…see this YouTube vid for a couple of examples.

The Ewoks say at least one line in Swedish as an in-joke.

An Ewok shouted a Tarzan yell in Return of the Jedi. Pathetic, really…

Please distinguish between the Hawaii 5-0 series – in the original Jack Lord uses the phrase “book’em Danno” frequently. in this new spin off i have not heard it. So to paint with a wide brush your statement is not correct.
