Hey all. I’m finding the direction the readers are choosing in my short serial story Kiss them Deadly very interesting.

Most current movies are disappointing. I liked EARLY Tim Burton, but he has become a parody of his style in the last 1/2 dozen, and most of the “serious” Hollywood films are just Leftist propaganda. I like a few that are made for kids, but very glad that is not my fave entertainment.

Roy, go see any movie and enjoy it for what it is. Don’t go with preconceived notions about “I’m going to love it/hate it because…” In the end, you will love it/hate it because……I’d rather watch a movie without thinking about the history of everyone involved in it’s making. Movies are for entertainment, not picking apart the past deeds of the parties who are in it or worked on it. But that’s just me.

And again, it’s a movie based on the book. It’s not the book. My favorite observation on this topic came back when someone wrote in to- I forget what publication- to curse Jackson for destroying LORD OF THE RINGS. The editor replied what a shame it was that Jackson had bought up every copy of the books and burned them all so no one could read them anymore. A little sarcasm can shoot down hysterical overreaction.
