Earl is starting to remind me of John on For Better or for Worse. He always puts his foot in his mouth with his wife Elly. Such as, she’s been working out at the gym and Mr. Idiot says, “You’ve been working out for a while now but you don’t look like you’ve lost any weight!”

I think the blouse is very nice too.

I just have to ask, why do women tint their hair blue? It’s not a natural color and it looks ridiculous. Yes, I am a woman, my hair isn’t gray yet but I don’t think it will. My mother’s 80 and she’s still a natural blonde. My late mother-in-law’s hair never went gray either and she had dark red hair. If you’re going to change your hair color so the gray doesn’t show, at least go to the color it was before it went gray or white. At least it would be more natural looking than blue.

Had an older French teacher in City College who always blued her hair. She looked ridiculous. Called her Mary Poppins behind her back because of her attire.

They tint their hair blue, because the white hair gone yellow is not considered attractive, The blue tint covers this.

Earl likes Opal’s hair the way it is — blue.Opal likes Earl better with a bowl for a hat.Life is good.

I didn’t care how my sons styled their hair. I considered it a superficial and temporary matter..How they looked was not as important as the kind of people they were and it was all going to fall out soon anyway.
