Te implication being that Web MD has turned us all into hypochondriacs? I actually like to know if I should go see a doc or if it’s probably nothing. And given the lief expectancy of cave dwellers, maybe a little knowledge is better than no knowledge.

I have a friend who is a RN who HATES Web MD. She says that people tend to look at their symptoms, check Web MD, and choose the WORST possible listing (even if the symptoms only marginally match).

I learned about not walking it off the first time I had gout. It ot worse in a hurry!
