I think they got it backward. This outsized deer must have been CLOSER than it appeared to be. First rule of hunting something much larger than you are: If you don’t hit it where it counts — RUN!!!
Most people never lived in caves. They are too few and too far between.The misconception is caused by the fact that artifacts left in caves were more likely to remain than those left out in the rain.Hence, the ones we found were mostly in caves.
