I think it’s hilarious how the word “vegan” (or “vegetarian”) elicits such nasty, stupid comments. To begin with, they wouldn’t go to a restaurant like this. If they did they wouldn’t let the waiter drone on about their meat-laden dinner specials. Furthermore, they aren’t all “full of themselves” because they choose a healthy diet, nor are they all hipsters. If anyone is “full of himself” it is the meat eater who makes fun of vegans in order to feel better about himself.

Right, let him go through the specials, make him do the dance, then tell him you’re vegan. It isn’t always the waiter.
