Oh, and there’s the GBwOF again. She must’ve found it on the bedroom floor when the dust bunnies under the bed kicked it out from their domain for being too dirty and obnoxious.
ahhh…….. Timmy’s pinewood derby car is broken…. and that’s the best consoling they can come up with…? ? ? TIMMY take my advice and build the best fastest car ever… and don’t stop there…. ! ! !
What a future. Glued to the TV and stuffing snacks down your throat. Priceless.Maybe they could find an industrial-size sausage maker, like for knockwurst, and just put their mouths over it, like they were the casings. Efficient.I just had a thought about the plant in “Little Shop of Horrors.”
If Timmy ever does build a really fast car…I hope he drives as far as he can from Crustwood, before it’s too late.
Before TV eats his brain; before the Penny/Shemp lifestyle creeps into his psyche…While he still has hopes and dreams beyond a great special at WalMart.
I’ll say it again: Run, Timmy, run!
I started to say that they’re really stuck in the 90’s in this panel…Men in Black, Sally Jesse Raphael… wow…. but, unfortunately, Jerry Springer and Little Debbies have endured….
And what the heck are those things they’re supposed to be stopping and smelling?
Good morning, Crustwood!Your Valentine’s Day Little Debbies are available now.
3 weeks too early?
Don’t worry…they’ll still taste exactly the same on Valentine’s Day…. 2027.
poor folks on tv shows really ! I never seen anyone on those shows I felt sorry for let alone waste time watching one at a relatives house because that was what they watch.
Hopefully Timmy, like Patty, will rise above the values of his parents and their friends. My own parents were normal middle class, as were their friends, but even I can look back and realize how little anyone knew of nutrition and health. I was especially thinking just the other day about applying makeup for the stage productions on those friends (who did not know how to do their own) and what lack of firmness there was around the eyes (something I noticed at the time).
Glad to say those vitamin preparations that I use keep my skin firmer than theirs (and I don’t think any of them had reached their 70s). I have at least one newspaper clipping somewhere in a photo album.
They MIGHT be roses…. but um…well, it’s indistinct…and we ARE talking about the Pennys.
Meanwhile….Marlene and Dale are Timmy’s grandparents.
Their son is Timmy’s father…. but we never see him, or Timmy’s mother, or his little brother (Todd or Tad…??) …who used to also appear in the strip, and in the character profiles on the old Dinette Set webpage, which has since been revamped without them.

Yeah, Timmy, spend your whole day gawping at the idiot lantern. You’ll learn LOTS.

I can’t imagine just what Patty’s childhood was like. Timmy will likely do the same, go to college and STAY AWAY from them!

Timmy’s mama sure looks proud of the advice Joy and Verl is giving him.
He should go to Patty for advice not them. But maybe Marline keeps him away for a reason we will not understand.
Sally and Jerry are the 2 people I would never watch. I think even I am smarter than that. Not much on TV anyway.
Susan I think it’s roses to smell, but in the penny’s house it could be the Lysol you smell.

We should all pray that Timmy sees the light and runs off to join the military. I feel sorry for him.

Yes Timmy, after high school, there is nothing in life but food and TV. And it is a good life.
