Yeah, I bet that all those people who said they were leaving still come back and read every day.

I’ve been thinking about leaving for a while, but I don’t want to give up on BC. I recently went to JohnHartStudios.com and commented on the feedback page. I told them I wished Mastroianni would stick with the old BC characters and themes and leave out the politics. Maybe if several of us would give him feedback, he’d start to get the hint. I also suggested a “BC Classics” page so we we can read the old ones we still love.

As a Liberal I’m sick of having to defend my politics all the time. I hope BC isn’t headed towards becoming a cartoon w/a bias (liberal or conservative.) I’ve enjoyed the strip all my life & I’d hate to have to start avoiding it. Kindnessmatters is right about free speech, etc but I avoid TV shows & comic strips that put me on the defensive. How will BC benefit by driving me & other readers away? Isn’t the goal to have MORE readers rather than less? As it is I can’t even enjoy family meals anymore because of politics (and I’ll bet lots of you don’t either.) for decades BC has been neutral.the second I decide it isn’t anymore I’ll drop it forever.
