The old tube radio in panel three would be dangerous for a child to have under the covers, with the metal chassis connected to one of the AC mains, known as a live chassis. I have restored several tube radios and am careful of the high voltages.

I was the kid in panel 4, first with a crystal radio I got for boxtops, then a real, 6-transtor radio that fit in a large shirt pocket.
