I want to be part of the generation that learns everything by way of video gaming. But you told me that there is no evidence that video games can be used teach. When did I say that!? When you said Grand Theft Auto wouldn't teach you to drive crazy, beat up people or curse like a drugged-out car thief. Yeah, but you didn't buy it for me, so we don't know!

I played the first 80% of the game and got bored. As much as I LOVE the GTA series … it’s just tedious after the story line. LoL

I’m sorry but I’m with Toby on this one (and therefore against his mom and most people here). Mom’s logic is flawed because it assumes that either all video games teach you something or none of them do. But if that were so, you should be able to apply that to books, and I think everyone here would agree that while you can learn a lot from most books others are trash. Or movies: some can be very educational (e.g., some documentaries), while others may actually be detrimental to your IQ (I’ll leave the examples as an exercise for the reader).

Which is I’ll never buy anyone of the GTA series, no matter what platform or game system (X-Box, PlayStation) it’s played on unless the swearing can standardized.
