The Aeromobil is a flying car with folding wings invented by Stefan Klein from the Czech Republic. It's capable of 100 mph on the road and 125 mph in the sky! African Spur Winged geese become so toxic after feeding on blister beetles that consuming their flesh can kill a human. Nobel prize-winning scientist Marie Curie, who won in 1903 and 1911, had a daughter Irene Joliot Curie- who also won a Nobel Prize for chemistry in 1935.

Hey kids.
All you said is true, but not 100% true.
First, Marie Curie was born Maria Salomea Skłodowska herb Dołęga, in what is now Poland. She goes to France, then maried Pierre Curie. Thus Marie Curie. Her daugher name was Irène and you told that, but half of the story. Her husband name was Jean Frédéric Joliot, thus Irène Joliot-Curie.Jean Frédéric Joliot for unknow reason to me presented himself as Frédéric Joliot-Curie (only his wife have the right to call herself that).
OK: all of this (comic text and my text) are true, so why bother give this answer ?
Because peple can be fooled by the not 100% accurate story.
For more deails go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Curie
and explore from there.

This is not the first attempt at a plane-car hybrid, and all the previous ones have been failures. The car is too light and dangerous on the highway. The process of converting to a plane is too cumbersome and complicated. The price tag makes them both cost prohibitive.

Actor Bob Cummings in the 1960s was shown in a photo with a car/airplane. The car pulled a trailer which was part of the plane.

Curie-ous about the Curies. A Wikipedia quote always settles a truth once and for all for me. If it’s there it has to be etched in stone.

@Emile SchwarzI’m not sure I follow you. The original statement was that Marie Curie won the Nobel in 1903 and 1911 and her daughter, Irène Joliot-Curie, won it in 1935. All true facts.
If your contention that her husband hyphenated his name, that “fact” was not what @Wilmette Illinois stated, and if you look at the Nobel site, his name is not hyphenated.
In either case, damn wikipedia. It’s a decent place to get an idea, but better to use additional sites if you are serious about researching fact.

There have been several attempts for a car/plane hybridbut several factors rule out mass production
Time to convert back and forthPeople with drivers and flying licenses make too small a market.
I hear that at one time there was research done by the military to make a plane/submarine but the technical obstacles could not be overcome!
