Animals (dogs) aren’t stupid, just animals. And they know what food is. Burl should be glad sweet Manny didn’t hump his leg enroute to the treat. They know about that too. Aristotle, not so much.
Looks like Dale but not Marlene…. ? ? ? .And BURl… Manny does not know how to spell O-F-F either…. Suggest you just toss that cookie on the floor and then stand up to eat the rest of the cookies while holding the bowl…. ! ! !
So we must gather that this is Connie’s house and she is single (with nobody but the dog assigned to the alternate chair) and Dale is visiting with Burl and Joy. Since Joy and Connie appear headed to kitchen or dining room, we should also assume that Marlene is there (maybe a date for Connie too?)
We had a dog many years ago who learned what it meant when we spelled out ‘m-i-l-k-b-o-n-e’. She also learned what o-u-t and c-a-r and r-i-d-e and w-a-l-k spelt. Animals aren’t stupid. With enough repetition they’ll begin to understand what certain sounds are associated with, so even if the words are spelled out they learn to match up the sounds with the event or object. And Burl, the idiot, totally misses the point here: The whole reason Connie is spelling the word is so Manny will NOT understand. Burl needs a rolled up newspaper applied with force across his hard head! GAH!

Burl doesn’t want any competition for food.

Notice its “her” dog, not “our” dog. Something tells me Manny is s-p-o-i-l-e-d! Mama’s widdle doggie, yes he is!

To our dog , when the pantry door was left open he would go, sit, and stare for a treat. WE learned not to leave it open.. So funny to watch him..

Oh, and the GBwOF is back. Doesn’t look very clean to me. Must not be the month for rinsing things.
