Anyone else reminded of Dodgson’s “scandalous” photographs of Alice?

Click-to-enlarge image can be found here, or at the only work, by this artist, so far, to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog.Gabriele and Adelheid von Humboldt (link shows Google translated German Wikipedia page, painting’s image caption there says she was 7, which makes Adelheid maybe 9) isn’t, as far as I can tell, shown online by its current-location.They were 2 of Caroline (Google translated) and Wilhelm von Humboldt’s 8 children. His Google translated German Wikipedia page provides the birth and death dates for Adelheid (actually Aurora Raffaele Adelheid there), and says she married a Prussian cavalry general.According to this (Google translated, search for Adelheid), she was about a month before her 15th birthday and he was 29½, when they were married (Google guesses at the verh.. abbreviation — it’s of verheiraten, not verhält). It also says she had posed for a sculpture of Psyche, when she was maybe 10, owned a good Burgörner (whatever that is, maybe an inn) for nearly 30 years before her death and then Gabriele owned it for nearly another 30 (ending maybe 2 years before hers).Or at least that’s what Google, Bing, and Babylon all translated hatten nacheinander Gut Burgörner I’m Besitz to mean. The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated German Wikipedia page maybe has more) and collection.

What do you mean worthless? I find it to be a highly effective sleep aid — I’m asleep within 5 minutes after starting to watch it.
