We have one of those fireplace heaters in our bedroom. When it’s on, our dog will snuggle her nose right up to it. There is an option on it that only has the “fire” display without the heat. I did that once and the dog was still next to the heater.

…I wish I had a fireplace…

It is snowing today in the Twin Cities, and I wish I could say I am enjoying it! On the south side, where we live, the snow is barely covering the ground; but go north a bit and the situation changes rapidly. If I was a kid again, it might be mrs fun…But I’m not, so I might just go flip on the fireplace (yes, this home has a gas model) and curl up with a good book…This is not taken today; but it could be…

Good Morning, Everyone,I’ve missed all your pictures………internet issues. But, I do LOVE today’s strip. It’s 10 degrees outside now, and about an inch of snow. That fireplace is EXACTLY what I have in mind for this ole girl. :))

I only use my fireplace in the summer. Nothing like it for taking the hot air out of the house and blowing it up the chimney!
