The teacher has failed to keep up with current findings in the field of philosophy. The question “why are we here” was answered long ago: we’re here because if we (or someone else who would serve the function of “we” in our stead) weren’t here, we wouldn’t have asked the question. Without an asker, the question doesn’t exist to require an answer..And yes, I realize that Danae had something more concrete in mind, but people need to know this stuff.

I thought Lucy might have been a Falabella (approximately 32 inches high as an adult).

Hey teach lighten up. You get paid to do this. There are many people out of work who would love your job so shut your ugly face.

Argy-bargy, logically there are only 3 explanations for why they say Democrat rather than Democratic. 1. They don’t know proper grammar…The word party or what ever, is the noun in the sentence, and the adjective form of democracy, is democratic….A party is democratic.. A person is a democrat, Evidently they don’t understand that..(Of course they’ll blame teachers, and demand an investigation into Michelle Obama’s influence on teachers and subversive reading material or something……Or..2. They are being childish..Or, 3, they don’t like the idea of Americans being democratic..To me it’s all three..But it could be (That would be 4), that they are being led around by the nose and enjoy it….

I predict Danae will get her wish…..just not in it’s desired form…..possibly a week of detention for disrupting the class….possibly more while Ms. McGarry takes time off for psychiatric help to deal with Danae’s unceasing nonsense.
