This is why cocktail hour should be before work.

One of the local bars had their “Happy Hour” at 6am to 7am. (That was back in the 70s)

After a lot of cocktails, the world should be “double”.

Cocktail “hour” at the Tiki goes from midnight to midnight.Ok….. 12:01am till midnight ….

Or is that 8:01 am till 8 am?No…. that’s cocktail “day”.

Well, just pick any 24 hours you like…

The Tiki never closes…. and every hour is happy hour.

And a hearty “Hello” to you..I know it’s been a lot colder in much of the US but here it’s 37F with a South-Easterly 24mph wind. Still feels cold, though. The Meteorological Office says it should be raining but it isn’t (yet). .I feel like partaking of a nice Brandy Alexander at the moment but as it’s only lunch time (noon) I will have to make do with tea (and left-over Chinese take-away).

Back when I was working, had no problem having a couple of gins at lunch – a small filet, blue cheese salad and carrot muffin (Irish Village had that). I did NOT usually choose to eat out if I had complicated calculations to do, but my normal supervisory and creative work was totally doable with a slight buzz.

I don’t watch football (unless my kids are here) but 2nd oldest grandson just moved to Seattle for work (before any post-grad studies) so my family is fine with the win.

Many family birthdays right now – Oldest boy was Jan 24, next was today, 3 grandsons in Feb, March and April. I noticed today that those who are on Skype send an auto-message of B-day. I HAD on Yahoo calendar but only see that when I open email, so it’s good to have that as well.

Stel – LOVE the drawing, but I don’t understand the purpose of these particular pulleys; The glass is sufficiently filled and already ON a doily, and the bottle has no pulley, so what is the use of the platform in front of Todd?

    Whew! Thanks Happy.

Earlier today I had a post removed (elsewhere) plus a couple of replies to it.

(It was really stupid. I don’t post offensive stuff!)

Having other people’s replies disappear made me wonder…. if you get 86’d you can still see your own posts, so you don’t know you’re banned…

but since I couldn’t see that one, I figured it was probably the only one missing, and I was OK.

Nice to have it verified though!
