Running is probably smart. I’m guessing topsider bases monitor vital signs, and can zero in on the location on deceased topsiders.

They must know that others will come looking fairly soon.I hope they can find a safe place to go to change over in.They wouldn’t have any other reason to run would they?

That last line could easily apply to politicians and ultra right wing conservatives!

They may be able to change, remember sleep sweet dreams, or you’ll turn into a foul tempered marsupial. Sweet dreams turn females into regular sized hotties, even the insane ones. Hey, in their world, if you aren’t crazy, you aren’t paying attention.JusSayin

Flask’s attitude (before she mutated) must be prevalent amongst those Topsiders who have seen mutants killed or non-mutated human be dissected too many times and they have begun to loathe their fellows.

Please… We gather here to enjoy a non-partisan strip abut survival. Please take your political racism and bigotry to another strip. This concludes this test. We return you to adventure, suspense, and friends.

so far in this series we’ve seen 2 former topsiders. Both were traumatized self hating messes. Anyone who is a topsider and still likes themselves is either a sadist or a sociopath.

They do need to vacate the area ASAP. The PT will probably attempt to make contact with them and when they do not respond? Officer down alarm goes off. This will bring even more of them. Topsider leadership will suspect Albion West is reoccupied so my guess would be they would nuke it just to be sure.On Topsiders hating Topsiders. I would suspect many of them were chosen as survivors to go into quarantine to survive the virus. Many of these may have been just normal non mutated folks given a chance. Only had enough survival suits to save a few. Then they were fed with promises of it will all be over soon. The end of the virus is near. But later to lead to “Oh by the way, here is a weapon now go kill mutants” even though these mutants were once neighbors of yours, friends, maybe even family.Like Wally pointed out as an engineer for APEX. Eventually everyone goes out on patrol with a gun and expected to do their “duty”.Topsider leadership and our Endtown rabbit have a lot in common. Just from two different directions but looking for the same result…..victory at any cost.

I’ve learned to not speculate much on where Aaron’s going with his storylines. I mean, yeah, we can always guess, but it’s more fun waiting for the next day (or Monday). The tale is in the telling.

Agreed. One of the things I hated about Washington DC, was six weeks of icy winter, followed by six weeks of slushy, gloomy winter. Once, by Lafayette Park, between World Bank and New Executive Office building, carrying some important work from IMF to NEOB, I was wearing my rubber shoes with snow cleats, slipped, landed flat on my back with badly bruised posterior, looked up, and at about 25 feet high, briefcase opens, dropping about 700 pages of a report due then, showering all the loose copies of my report all over Lafayette Square, and some was sensitive. It wasn’t exactly coded, but they needed me to decipher the variables.Yeah, kd1sq had it worse, but some of us know how miserable you have it, and Veteran, dealing with getting around in a town where people can’t drive on snow. We are really cold for here, but I know how blessed I am that such weather is rare here. And it’s so rare, almost everything was closed, so most could and did stay home.Stay Cozy, JusSayin
