Hi Red and Essex… great to see you both at the Tiki!
I’m going to have a banana dak too, 2Old….
and thanks, Red, but as I’m running the grinder right now, I don’t have to pay for it….so… eeek!OMG!little monkeys get away from there.I want a banana daiquiri, not a monkey daiquiri….
Yes, I know… helping…Please … go see who needs another drink….that would be very helpful…..
Ess…. well, you’ve got the disappearing act down pat…all but your smile.
We remember that smile around here… which is why we always welcome you back.
Hope you’ll stick around in toto for a while!
pcolli…. Essex60 is one of our instigators, here on Ballard St.He had to drag me in kicking and screaming (right, Ess?)….
I wasn’t going to join this silly nonsense…not me….
He decided I had a hair salon here…. not even knowing I was really a hairstylist…. and here I am today.Doing hair and nails…. and baking pies…not to mention working nights at the Tiki, for my good friend our Monkey Sheriff…even hiring the animal bartenders and supervising little monkeys.
Marvelous comments, but I had too busy a day to read my comics- be back tomorrow. I’m about to go see my new man in his theater performance (and singing) and it occurs to me I never heard him do so much as hum a tune, but he also sings in the choir Sundays.
I left early this morning for a multifamily yard sale with lots of SCA stuff (hoping to score some pretty tunics for him) and bought 2 (and 2 sturdy baskets for myself).

I’ll be checking in tomorrow. LOL I just realized I never hit enter yesterday.
Yes, only black……Registration no. BB7768. He sold that and bought a Sunbeam Talbot (don’t know when it was made) A8968. The first car he ever had was in Australia – a 1931 Chevrolet Tourer.
@Essex, per my age I don’t know either song (yours or Red’s) but yours was too much of a mystery and made no sense whatsoever. Red’s Nostradamus does make sense and I rather liked it. RE: yesterday, my new man’s voice resounded nicely for the stage and was noticeable in the village group songs (wondering if he manages to blend in church choir?) We discussed a lot during conversation times yesterday, but not that. We are planning a camping weekend soon (possibly in March) with my SCA group (Barony).
The headpiece in the cartoon reminds me of the devices we made in a little group I associated with a few years ago – they went hunting those mystical vortices in the remote regions of AZ (it was too hard on my car) but Cuddles liked it, and I was into doing anything to please my little girl. I’m glad she learned to like SCA for us both (and it looks like he will too).:-D
Now that I can have other than “virtual” drinks, I’m having more fun with them- just had some good lowfat Greek yogurt mixed with enough Kahlua (to give a good color of coffee with cream) and ate fresh strawberries dipped in said mixture. That WILL do for a dessert next weekend after my baked oysters ;-D I found a really great guy ;-D

And Red…never ask Fenton that question….
he thinks all humans are crazy all the time.
SusanSunshine Premium Member almost 11 years ago
Sure Brian…. we also have those really hot spicy ones….
But they don’t mix well with banana drinks, to me.

Hmmm…Warren’s still evaluating the Senior Center, so he doesn’t really seem like the decisive type…
I guess I’ll have to do some additional research in the attic reference room, and of course, daytime is best: it’s not so spooky.
Well, (ahem…)I’ll have to get back to you on that sometime tomorrow. I’m sure that information is around….here…..somewhe…

Oh my, I loves me a challenge.
Especially if it involves Essex and the Monkey.
SusanSunshine Premium Member almost 11 years ago
Essex….
Well…. first I thought it was this one…. and you were implying that you’d soon be run out of town…. sniffle…..
However, the Monkey commented that day, and you didn’t… and I’m not sure you were even on Ballard St. yet.
And you know we won’t run you out of town…. well, not soon anyway…. :)
Soooo … after further archive exploration and excavation, I think this is it:
It’s more around the time I would guess was correct…and if you click the picture, you can read the (interesting) conversation.
So…. you’re saying your wanderlust will call you….
And you were going to play me this?
