Well, it’s hard to say just when some might have seen it. It was Flesh Tint (A more or less standard art color), then just Flesh, then Pink Beige, then Flesh again, and finally Peach. But you have to be at least nearly Medicare eligible to remember Flesh. .And Indian Red, which never had anything to do with Native American but referred to the original course of the color in India. Became Chestnut.
I remember some brands of extra waxy crayons, but they did not come in the iconic Crayola box. And I remember “flesh” color as a rather masculine ruddy flesh, so that it had to be shaded/blended with white and pink for girls faces. I have not used crayons since we had to use them for submittals of heraldry for registration. I registered mine in less than a year, with my name. I hope to do his in even less time because I understand the process. This is my heraldic surcote:
Oh gee. when I was a little girl, I used to just LOVE those 64 piece boxes of Crayola Crayons at the beginning of the school year! Funny how times have changed, isn’t it? Most kids today would consider that totally “nerd” or whatever.

When I was their age I wanted a 64-crayon bonanza really bad. When I got old enough to afford all I wanted, well, eh.

The 64 box has 58 crayons that will never be used.
