Jason: Mom, what is this?! Andy: Broccoli stew. Jason: I told you, I'm a Viking now! Vikings don't eat things like broccoli stew! Andy: Good point. I'll go whip up some boiled sheep's head. Jason: Actually, broccoli stew's fine. Andy: Nonsense. Now, where's my big pot?...

I’ve never had boiled sheeps head. But given a choice between boiled sheeps head and broccoli stew, I think I’d give the sheeps head a try. I really really really don’t like the idea of overcooked broccoli swimming around in water.

That’s one way to get him to eat his dinner, but I don’t like the sound of Broccoli Stew.

Vikings eat lutefisk. Get it right.

I’ve tried every way to prepare broccoli imaginable. I agree with Bush Sr. There is nothing one can do to broccoli to make it fit for human consumption.

Best recipe for broccoli: slice to bite size, place in small bowl, salt, dash of olive oil, dash of sesame oil, microwave for 75 seconds. Comes out limp, but delicious.
