Don’t worry about the crocs, being cold-blooded, they can’t move fast in that environment. The polar bears, on the other hand, are fast and will eat your head while you’re still saying “awww! what cute…”
From the Moody Blues’ Dr. Livingstone I Presume? “I’ve seen polar bears and seals. I’ve giant Antarctic eels, but I’ve still not found what I’m looking for.”
One slight piece of good news: if the polar bears find conditions comfortable, Cap’n Eddie don’t have to worry too much about the crocodiles. Conversely, if conditions are comfortable for the crocs, the polar bears will find things very disadvantageous.
Pardon an obscure reference, but it reminds me of E.A. Poe’s “Maelstrom”, about a ship gradually being drawn down into a whirlpool, as only Poe could put it. This is MUCH cheerier!
If the global warming nuts were involved this whole thing would have played out in a tropical forest near Nome , Alaska! I always picture ugly shoes when I think of “Crocs”
