Dale’s ears, like those of Marlene, and the rest of their little group, are trained to screen for keywords like “burger”, “crispy”, “chocolate”, and “coupon.”
There are probably 50 words on the list, and if the conversation doesn’t include any of them, their minds drift away.
That’s why they like each other’s conversation…. it’s all 80% keywords.
Timmy hasn’t learned them all… I was going to say “yet” but I hope he never does.
I try to listen to my grand son but sometimes I have no clue what he is talking about. I don’t watch the shows he does and he tries to explain about his friends in a round about way. By the time he gets to the story the name has changed and he is talking about someone else.
I’m sure Timmy had a great time away from that lot. Just think 3 whole days of positive thinking for a change. Next time he’ll want to go for the whole week. Save those nickels Timmy you know they won’t pay for the extra 4 days..I am defiantly staying out of her kitchen
Poor Timmy, “that’s precious” as if he is a 4 year old. I suppose eventually he will figure out that this self centered bunch doesn’t give a rip about him if it isn’t to send him in for fast food.

You would think poor Timmy, but by now he is used to his grandparents being “different”. And I agree with loveslife, my 4 year old granddaughter’s stories are so convoluted, no one could follow them.My computer well and truly crashed yesterday, after a week of strangeness, I’m now on the laptop, but the screen is a lot smaller and I’m having trouble seeing whats on it. sigh
Hopefully Timmy will get to attend camp all summer long next year (to get influence and contact from some people other than these).
Perhaps that’s why Patty is so different.
We have been planning our first camping weekend (my first camping ever as an adult) for the end of March. He has even volunteered to do most of the cooking (since it’s his gear and he’s used to it). I’m glad we both like good healthy food.
