    True story: I once knew a guy who was a test pilot. He was so excited about his new foreign car that even had a fuel indicator to tell you when you’re low on fuel. He was late one evening and showed up complaining because the light didn’t go on until he actually ran OUT of gas. I asked him to show me which light it was. I said, “Ted, that’s your OIL light!” He thought the oil can pictograph looked like a gas can. “And you’re a test pilot?” was my unspoken question.

    When that light goes on in my car, I’ve got 41 more miles to make a decision. Took a 2 gallon spare with me to find that out. Don’t try this trick on the interstate, boys and girls.
