I will respond to Mr Green’s flawed attacks later,but now, leukemia calls. I do respect all people, and my post was sincere. There is no error there unless you wish to find it.

I did use parasite in the vernacular sense, rather than the strict biological sense, but was quite pleased that Rp GG and others were able to inform us as to the current classifications of parasites, mutuals, and symbionts. In addition to learning a little something, the biological discussion was conducted courteously and respectfully. Mr Green, I was not educated in the Stone Age, and the idea of assigning letter grades to students at an academy in the Bronze Age is quite foreign, and would have been quite shocking to the Citizenry.Mr Green made a very wrong assumption about a statement I made. The prestigious(in the French sense) Professor physically jabbed me with his finger a few times, and grabbed my shoulder, prompting one of his colleagues to restrain him. I did not initiate violence, but I do not have any betters. Nor do I have any inferiors. In the grand scheme of things, even Stephen Hawking is but a mere insect compared to the Genius of the seen and unseen worlds. Science changes all the time. Science is simply a process of observation and attempts to understand how things work. 21st century humans are quite arrogant if they think they can fully comprehend the seen and unseen one song.Sincerely & RespectfullyJusSayin

Also when the crew crew moved to the common house (Walden Puddle and Zonker’s wheat patch!). BD’s deployment to Viet Nam (Phred the terrorist!). Oh God. I think I am having an L.S.D. flashback …..

I had forgotten how much fun the primitive style of the early strips was.

So…..this strip actually used to be about a guy named Doonesbury…………..wow.

It’s high time for GT to retire, yet he hangs on with reruns. If he wants to, let him continue his Sunday strip, as editorials. That’s what Dubya, his college classmate, did, the classiest act of his career. You gotta know when to bow out. The stream of blather about GT working on other projects grew lame quite some time ago.

I shall try and I thank you for your concern.Actually, I don’t feel any animosity despite his cruel attack and making me cry.Still, it is hard to simply ignore statements built on the inferior education or mental health of any who disagree with a false statement or bunch of false statements.Nonetheless, with your example to lead me, surel I can be a better man with what time I have left.

The problem with the belief that our Lord has created us equal in His eyes (aside from the disbelief in such a creation or Creator) is that we can clearly see some people are better than other people.Some like to help others.Some like to prey on others.Some seak peace.Some seek conflict, war and destruction.Some like to heal.Some like to kill and torture..People are not all equal.Many people are far better than I am.. Yes, some THINK they are better than others under concepts of socio-economic status or their religion or lack thereof or their sub-race or even their physical characteristics.They mere fact that they think themselves better based on those concepts shows exactly how wrong they are..Based on those thoughts, I believe the poster was not perfectly correct in his statement, nor do I consider him equal to those who do not accuse others of being failures academically or drunk or mentally deficient due to untreated syphilitic infection.I consider those others better than he is.I could be wrong but would need to be convinced by something other than the logic “since all men are created equal he must be equal to all others”. The initial assumption is not proven; any conclusion derived from an unproven initial assumption is therefor suspect.

So this wraps up the first week of 1970’s Doonesbury reruns but not in strip order.

I suspect, the purpose of these strips is to reintroduce the characters or introduce the characters to those who are not familiar with the earlier work.The first 4 out of the 5 strips this week dealt with the relationship between Mike and BD.Today’s strip is the first one with Mark in it.They have also skipped over some strips that may seem insensitive to some readers. Try not to be offended, but one who bets is called a “bettor” just as one who sells or vends is called a “vendor”.. Further, you may judge me wrong for rejecting the idea that the Bible rejects the existence of judges. We judge candidates when we do our civic duty and vote. We judge suitors when we decide which spouse to pick. We judge among applicants when we decide on hiring. We judge among opportunities when we seek an acceptable employer in an acceptable field..I reject the idea that we can never judge people of predation. A person who kidnaps, tortures and kills small children — or anyone else, for that matter — IS a predator. A person who steals from others for personal enrichment IS a predator..In like manner, a person who tries to relieve human suffering is not a predator or a bad person..I am not claiming there are no grey areas, but I reject the notion all attitudes and actions are grey, that nothing can be judged right or judged wrong..If I am wrong, prove me wrong. Don’t just pick and choose scripture or any other textus receptus to reject reason. I can stand being judged and am judged daily. I even judge myself, as I am instructed to do.
