If anything, it’s probably worse now than it was in his time. Not that I don’t believe in taking the best care of yourself that you can. Maybe it would be a good idea to deny yourself the ‘bad’ stuff altogether if there was a remote chance that you could live forever. But since there isn’t, and you won’t, I’m not going to don a hair shirt to indulge in the occasional ‘sin,’ because sooner or later you have no choice but to check out, regardless of what you do or don’t do.
