I always to back to the day before the current strip and postings to see what I missed. A HUGE thank you to everyone for kind thoughts and caring. The story that Linda posted made me cry again. Then I saw all of the kitties with the Mardi Gras beads and laughing out loud again!
I do a lot of fostering and after I took Boo Boo kitty to his new home yesterday, I stopped at the vets office to pick up another kitty that has no home. He got fixed and will go to PetCo with us on Fri for adoption. He’s a sweet orange/white male that was THROWN OUT OF A CAR in a local parking lot with 2 other cats. People took the others but nobody wanted this one. A very kind disabled man took him to our local shelter but was refused because he was found in the neighboring towns’ parking lot. The shelter master said NO, even tho the man lives in our town. He lives with his dad and they have 8 cats so said no, too. Luckily, the woman I work with in fostering and TNR and rescues was at the shelter and told him not to worry, she would take the cat. So off the vet he went and now he’s here for a few days. All of that being said, even losing Morgan, we carry on and help the others that come along so it doesn’t hurt quite so much.
Morgan was not a sociable cat – she would have preferred to be an only child. It never worked out for her. So now, she’s in the Princess Palace with her own room.
How do you post a picture on here? I would like to share one of Morgan.
I tried to follow the instructions for posting a picture but I’m apparently too stupid to figure it out. Morgan was a Tuxedo kitty. The two next to my name here are Casper and Misty. She left us on NYE 2011. Casper is still here, along with Moose and Scooter. When we lost Misty, I brought Moose home to foster and kept him. The following month, I brought Scooter from the shelter to foster. Kept him, too. My husband said no way were they going out for adoption.

MayKitten, your Bluebell sounds like a “dilute tortie”, what they call a “Bluecream tortie” in England. They sound like a good little troupe of kits.

MayKitten: With all of the different markings, it sounds like daddy was a rambling man and mama wasn’t choosy

I keep looking for the Ten Cats Kindle book and it doesn’t come up in my search. This is odd.
