For those who were taken aback by Maxine today, here’s her first appearance. Remember not to miss any of our exciting adventures!-—————————————————http://www.gocomics.com/working-daze/2013/12/12#.UyxHo6XuQoY
I dislike the fact that the only difference between Rita and Maxine is their hair color. Whether intended or not, it gives the message that power makes all women unattractive in personality or looks.
Actually, the suit is periwinkle (at least on my monitor) but just doesn’t look right with the blonde hair. She needs a pink suit with a white bustier. Or vice-verse. Had to go to the link to see Maxine’s first appearance, now I remember reading it. Could be interesting.
It says an awful lot about how far attitudes in the workplace have not progressed that most of the discussion here is about what outfits and colours are OK for women managers.

Same haircut and wearing the same outfit? Single White Female, anyone? Yikes!

I’d call Maxine Rita’s evil twin, except that I’m not sure which one would actually qualify more for the title.

I never noticed before that Dana is what we used to call, Knocked-Kneed.

Does upper management require female managers to wear a black bustier and light blue skirted suit? Managers are above the dress code.

Rita looks better than Maxine in a small black bikini.

That’s not knock kneed….that’s bow legged. Knock kneed is when the knees are together and the feet apart.

Nah. Just coincidence. But Rita reads too much into it

I have a light blue taffeta evening suit (3 piece- has a shell, not vest) and it is slightly periwinkle too. I think the color is fine for blonds.
