Adversity wouldn’t be so bad, if it weren’t for its adverse effects.Charles Schulz drew the following Peanuts strips after his studio burned down. Bill Watterson would have read them when he was eight years old.Click here: Peanuts (September 20, 1966)Click here: Peanuts (October 3, 1966)
Hi, JoanHelen. Cartoonists like Charles Schulz and especially Bill Watterson also seem to hear a “different drum.” While their work gives us some insight into their thinking, it is still very difficult for the rest of us to try to put ourselves inside their minds and to see the world as they would see it.
If only it were that easy to get the kids to eat the meal mom or I prepared for them, we would have disposed with the TV years ago.Of course, we would have to visit a friend or neighbor to watch NCIS together, which we do judiciously every Tuesday evening.: >)
Thought about it, out of the 500-odd channels out there only 28 or so are worth watching more or less regularly,, and of those, The History Channel is #1 for me.

Nobody would want my TV. It’s old and weighs a ton.

If Mom hadn’t reminded Calvin that the tv was stolen, wonder how long he’d have sat staring at the blank wall.

if the asparagus was wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with balsamic and olive oil mix, then he would have seconds and thirds….

As I always say…you could swap the name Calvin for Robert (my son), and you wouldn’t need to change anything in the comic strips!! :P

Procure a chassis from an old CRT TV, install your flatscreen in it.No one will ever steal it.
