What have I missed here with Satchel being afraid of the word booger.

This seems familiar – is this a rerun? Not that I mind – it’s all good stuff!

Perhaps he needs to blow his nose.

Conley is losing distribution because of the number of reruns and lack of new strips. If you look at printing between the first and second panels, you will see that this strip first ran in 2006.

From Wikipedia:Since 2011, Get Fuzzy readers have been seeing more and more reruns for reasons that have never been made clear by either Universal Uclick or Darby Conley. Originally, the strip would alternate between a week of new strips and a week of old strips. This eventually grew into longer and longer periods between new strips and old strips. Although this did extend to Sundays for a brief period, Conley has produced new Sunday strips for most of this period.

Bucky has been sneaking up on him since Monday saying Booger.

Gee, this reminds me of my big brother, who used to sing “Eat a Gob” to the “Dragnet” theme. What is a gob? I don’t know. Something creepy and distasteful, probably. That and “House of Wax, icky gory house” sung to the same tune scared the bejeebers out of me.

Geez! It looks like Satch has lost weight in the last three days. His face is showing signs of extreme mental anguish. Will Mr. Katt destroy the poor old pooch?

And, the one in the first ain’t too bad, either.

Satchel is getting …. annoyed. Just a few more boogers..going to have to remember this one (and yes, I remember it from before). Think this might translate to real life. But a person would have to pick the word and victim carefully.
