I’m a “lunatic fringe” liberal who stopped watching MSNBC awhile ago for precisely the reason given above.

Separate the perspective, opinion, bias, and entertainment from the facts. NPR and BBC will have new and more important stories with more research a week before anyone else. The Daily Show will punch news show’s stupid tickets.

You beat me to it, Poodle Groomer. I get my TV news from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

The local news rag, “The Bedford Gazette”, is a small(ish)-town paper. The front page always features a “Top of the Morning” column filled with snippets of good news. A typical entry might be “Mrs. Jones’ roses bloomed early this year.”It’s a nice place to get your news.

I dislike all tv news. I just read the NYT or the Wall Street Journal. Those two are good
