What’s the difference between writing a chain letter six times or writing “I will not write chain letter in class” six times? I’m sure they both improved his handwriting just the same.
Charlie Brown could have been like Bart Simpson and write “I WILL NOT WRITE CHAIN LETTERS IN CLASS” on the blackboard before hearing the school bell and take off on a skateboard.

CB doesn’t break the chain and STILL has bad luck. But being CB, it would be hard to tell the difference anyway.

We had to do times tables——-1 × 1 up to 12 × 12 several times per incident. I learned to use two pencils at a time for parts of it.

Unless this is a penmanship class, the teacher is all wrong. Writing lines used to be done at home.

It should be: “I will not bother writing chains letters at all because they’re pointless”

The only one who ever did chain mail right was King Arthur.
