This looks like an older strip that was held back for a while due to the smaller writing and Rat’s nose. I can see why (and so can other people, reading other comments).

And right when the strips were getting funny….

The dialogue in the fist panel almost sounds like part of a poem or a song lyric bcs of the rhyming of s"elf- esteem" and “can’t be seen” … Anyone?
