remember dill’s dream to be a cart-herder when he grows up?

So, Dill, you suspect it was grocery carticide?! Alice can play “bad cop” to your “good cop” in apprehending the perpetrator….

Dill will first gain the cart’s trust before trying to herd it.

Hmm, the plot thickens.

and we wonder why our grocery bill keeps going up, the rate those carts are stolen… (borrowed)

Reminds me of the time that I rescued a shopping cart from a pond near a previous home. I made a lasso out of a 30’ dog leash and was able to drag it to shore. I got the major giggles dropping it off in the grocery store parking lot, sans explanation, completely coated in green pond scum. Its discovery must have been quite the head scratcher for the cartherd. (Fortunately Dill’s brothers were not employed at that particular shopping center; otherwise they likely would have launched it into my condo with their trebuchet.)

It would have been funny if Dil had put on sunglass and the csi theme started playing

Being paranoid, I have to agree with Dil on this.
