Don’t know if it is still true, but for years, in Virginia, it was legal to drive around with your kids in the bed of a pickup, but not your dogs.

Oh, the insanity of it all!!!In Mexico (where I reside) it is legal to transport as many people (adults & children) as you can cram into the back of a pickup truck (even those who hang on to the sides) – as well as however many fit into the cab!
