My mother-in-law would freak and want to buy new dishes AND a new dishwasher.

LoLI wouldn’t go so far as to buy new dishes but … I wouldn’t let dogs lick my dishes. While dog lovers say “oh their mouth is the cleaner than ours.” think about what they lick and eat …

Stopped doing this, the wife kept objecting. Then the pooch was unhappy. Just can’t win.

I don’t worry about how clean my dog’s mouth is as she is pre-washing the dishes. The chlorine in the soap and the very hot water render it meaningless.

Now that I am temporarily dog-less :(, I so miss them when I have greasy dishes or a mac and cheese pan. Always had/have a squirt bottle of bleach and water and one of vinegar and water on the sink to follow up.

Human type foods typically aren’t healthy for HUMANS. :)
