I like the anachronistic, boxy police car.

What’s coming over the radio certainly doesn’t sound good….

SMACK, EEEK!???Who did Tabby just smack, Gertie? Sparkle? Montana Joe?

Ruh roh.

Some of those boxy police cars are here in Boston. So there’s nothing anachronistic about them.

This can’t be good. My guess is that Tabby Angus is going to broadcast his demands over the radio. Maybe he’ll take the station occupants hostage while he negotiates to be taken to somewhere safe from the police. Whatever just happened, it seems that things have escalated rather quickly.

Another interesting turn of events. Seems Tabby won’t be attempting to escape on horseback, a-la Kirk Douglas in Lonely are the Brave (1962), but commandeering the radio station to broadcast his demands. I’m guessing Montana Joe was the recipient of the “Smack.” Did the ladies “Eeek!” in harmony, in keeping with the Sounds of Plenty? Maybe Tabby will trade Sparkplug for what I assume was the Plenty pick-up truck parked outside. Could we be graced with another thrill-filled chase? Sam and Tracy are on the case and rolling Tabby’s way. What fun!

And once again Tracy’s opposition proves how frickin stupid they are. angus.. who, according to Tracy “has been getting away with murder for years” is dumb enough to apparently broadcast over live radio his abusing the sounds o’ plenty.

Maybe the SMACK was one of ladies kissing Angus and the EEEK was their thrill of seeing such a gorgeous guy show up in person. LOL

No, Puzz. The horns will actually be mounted on the front fenders and be 30 cal machine guns.

I have a feeling that this will be the granddaddy of “Sweatbox Endings”. Team Tracy had the makings of a great story going and if they crash it into a wall, favoring Little Orphan Annie, Nancy & Sluggo, or Little Lulu, I’ll be disappointed.

Tracy has no time for his extended family’s “hillbilly” music.Tracy and I have that in common.

Should cops be listening to regular broadcast radio while on duty?

The Nitrate’s car is attached to the locomotive engine it seems. Maybe Tabby Angus will run away from Tracy, jump on a boxcar, then see the Nitrates at a crossing, jump in flattop jr’s car with them, then run into Blaze Rize who jumps in, and they come across the “unnamed moon people” that were spotted at the REAL DEAL MYSTA’S gravesite, then theyll travel to the wheaton farm where the space coupe is suddenly returning with ghote, sail and the sputnik guy, they’ll drive a short bit to the old granery and find dr modred is actually… GASP… STILL ALIVE!!! then they’ll all get together, pick up blackjack along the way, run into abner kadaver and then will all then rendevouz at that club with Stiletta, BB eyes, doubleup and mumbles, and their bar tab will be paid for by meiles, venus and the blackhearts gang as they skip along the yellow brick road to ask the wizard for a storyline that ACTUALLY ends in a proper manner!

I bet those sounds are the horse (maybe it’s tail hitting someone) and a reaction thereto. Angus isn’t that stupid.

…if D.T. is Sam’s superior, then Sam should address him as “Sir”.

I don’t think Tracy is considered Sam’s superior. In spite of the fact that Dick Tracy is considered “Chief of Detectives” (I believe), Sam and Dick have been “partners” for decades and there is no superior among partners.

I’m not sure what Angus thinks he is up to, but I do know that he has just brought down the wrath of Tracy and Catchem upon himself. This will make a quick ending possible, if that is what the plot requires….

I think the “smack” is one of the ladies smacking Angus in the face. Not sure why one of them would say “eek” but I bet the ladies are getting the best of Angus.
