@Essex, that’s for the realty tip; That one doesn’t have much curb appeal, though, and the interior is a little large for my taste; I like the master bath, however. I thought of getting another with pool, but really don’t need it, since he has the big in-ground hot tub and one of the centers has indoor pool (I did not want sun exposure, so swam at night) no more swimming in the pool THAT way, but the tub will do)
Neal’s recovery has been painfully slow. Shirley has spent a lot of time in Toledo; she has two sisters there who have been very supportive. Trooper is on high alert, he takes nothing for granted; poised and at the ready, action is his code word and action there will be. Neal on the other hand is quite happily laid back, where once he had proudly touted, I don’t give an “F” bombing cow excrement, he finally morphed into, “I hate everything” and now gleefully explains the world around him in terms he finds amusing and laughable. Socially he is now very accommodating and has been invited back to the bowl league on a trial basis and with several warnings in place. Me, I’m not so sure, I liked the old salty dog better, he got a lot of stuff done, always told the truth and had dessert after every meal.
still cant believe George is retiring….I remember the first time I saw him…at the fairgrounds in Amarillo, and when he sang Amarillo by morning, the crowd almost clapped and cheered the roof off…what an amazing performer…heck I even liked the movie he made, which in spite of the awful reviews, I thought it was great!

@ Wet, I remember cigarette dispensers like that (except I think they were mules). Another silly anachronism.
I think it’s time for a glass of something too (5:44 here).
