Arlo, find a hobby and give her some space. Too much togetherness is no good for a relationship, and these two are together way too much.

Has Arlo just now noticed she locks the door while taking a bath?

Has Janis noticed her book is ruined and if she needed help Arlo might not get there in time. Besides, this is the first time she locked the door, Arlo has gotten in before.

Sometimes it’s nice to get into the tub and relax with a good book, I used to do it all the time. I love my man but bathroom time is my time – not to say that we haven’t taken the occasional shower together but those are rare special moments.

She accidentally locked the door out of old habit. I’ve done that or similar things. Fortunately, inside bathroom door locks are trivial to disengage.

It’s OK, that’s a rubber book.

A bath to scrub up, and a bath to relax in, are two different things.

As I recall, Arlo once opened the door to Janis’ confusion and he said, “You have your way of checking our marriage and I have mine”. Looks like this marriage is headed to Divorce court. Just in the past week she has been rather callous when Arlo cut his finger and the week before, she was disturbed about growing old. It seems like she is going through mid-life crisis. With all her walks and who does she keep talking to on her phone, it sure isn’t Arlo? Its soon going to be Arlo and Ludwig. Or maybe a cute little blonde.

Like she’s not entitled to ANY time alone?

She can still love her husband without wanting to be ogled all the time. Can’t a woman just take a bath in peace! It doesn’t look like he even knocked first.

She is probably tired of being treated like a sex object all the time. I’d lock the door too.

It’s not that we don’t enjoy the gawking, comments, fondling, and such. We really do like knowing you guys are still interested. Sometimes we just want our own space. It’s nothing personal and it is definately not a relationship indicator. Sometimes a girl wants to take a relaxing bath without an audience.

So don’t just stand there, Arlo, find the key! Or a jeweler’s screwdriver! Or a paper clip! There are ways of unlocking that door!
