Today’s ‘pencil in the head’ is the best.

I love Trout’s complete faith that Agnes CAN do what she plans….even after watching Complete Failure, Numbers 1 through 487…. or is that 3762?

She’s begging her NOT to do it, not mocking her ability.

Trout may seem sarcastic and unsupportive, but she’s really Agnes’ biggest…er… only … fan.

Well, except for Grandma, of course…and all of US.

Agnes has the look, as in all grade B sci-fi movies, of the head scientist refusing to listen to her cohorts. “But the results will be cataclysmic!” “Nonsense!”

I’d love to know what Agnes is writing on that clipboard of hers.

It’s a good thing Agnes has a perfect track record (0 for 3762) because Trout is right.

If the birds adapt…. wouldn’t we then consider Alfred Hitchcock as ahead of his time?

Does anyone remember the stories of China paving over EVERYTHING in Beijing, I think it was, because all the trees were “dirty”? Some years later the air was so hopelessly dirty it was unusable and they had the “enlightened” idea that TREES WERE NECESSARY! So Agnes isn’t the first brain trust who thought they knew better.

Or the time the CCP in Beijing ordered the populace of various villages to catch and kill the starlings. They thought the birds were pests. The villagers did as they were told and were good at it (a bounty was offered). Soon, the villages were swarming with insects of every variety. Did the comrades in Beijing learn anything from that episode? Probably not.
