With all the fart comments, I’m looking around for Mel Brooks! Seriously, purple and 2old beat me to the punch.

How come when being chased the women are in heels and one always breaks?How come when being chased everyone has to look back and then fall down just to be captured??

I bet Joy runs into the bathroom when she hears Burls “WIND” to see if he’s OK

We all love to see the Pennys, because everyone has at least MET someone like them in one of Julie’s cartoons.

Most of us have some relative, in-law or co-worker who is in some way as boorish as Burl, as clueless as Joy and Verla, or as hairy as Jerry.

Besides that, I always enjoy the way the small details of this cartoon usually have tie-ins to the subject matter.

It’s good havin’ ya drop by, Tenderheart!! Or Winnie or Teddy, aaaaaah, whomever!! Set a spell!! Take yer shoes off!! Y’all come back now……hear??

P.S.: Cool looking monster!! Looks like TABONGA, that tree-guy in “From Hell It Came”, later re-named “The Strange Creature” when it got increased T.V. exposure & networks had trouble with HELL being a naughty word!!
