Productivity -Managers point of view: More phone calls taken, creates higher count for productivity.
Customers point of view: more time spent on the phone trying to resolve the customers problems, creating happier customers, or at least understanding ones. Lower phone call count per employee.
Lila – appears to be working to please the customers, not the bosses.
50 years from now, will either the state of Lila’s nails or her productivity back in 2014 be of any significance whatsoever in the grand scheme of things?
Well in these times of economic strife, the slackers are the first to go.
If only that were true, businesses would be more productive and employees would be happier. As it is, because of the way unions have evolved, the newest employee is first to go, no matter how good they are at their job or how bad the older employee is at the same job.
