Stopped one day to retrieve a large turtle crossing the road near the house. I was concerned it might get hit by a car so I picked it up with both hands near the back of the shell.Wow! I had no idea the neck was so long! Here I was trying to save it from impending doom, and the damn thing was reaching around trying to snap at my fingers! Just as I reached the side of the road to place it back in the grass, it peed on me!Man, did that stink! Maybe next time I will let nature take its course.
