I actually know several people who have bailed out of airplanes and several dozen who have intentionally exited an aircraft in flight. One of those who bailed out landed in the backyard of a Japanese farmer. Yup, he did walk up to the door and asked to use the phone. The couple invited him in and served him tea and sake like it was an everyday occurrence.
