I had some friends who had a house on a hill that sloped down to a lake. They had a path from a storage shed under the house down to the dock. My friend’s dad was a B-36 mechanic and had an inner tube from the landing gear. Must have been 7 feet in diameter. To a small kid, this was huge.
One day as we were on the dock, he inflated it and rolled it down the path. All of us learned how to dive off the dock. We had a great time with it on the lake. The entire gang could float on it.
