Letting the days go byLet the water hold me downLetting the days go byWater flowing undergroundInto the blue againAfter the money’s goneOnce in a lifetimeWater flowing underground
Many years ago, this old lady took a commercial white water rafting trip in Montana and LOVED it. Very exciting! The guide turned the boat at the top of a drop so that I was the very first one to see what was coming. Got a good soaking but this was one of my favorite memories from my middle age.
Hmm do people see that the raft is from right to left in the picture, and that it is flat at that point, but looking left, all you see is blue sky, not even more of the mountain?

There’s something darkly Zen about the old gent in the rocker.

Somewhere in Wyoming, along the Snake River, there is a cataract known as the “Lunch Counter”.

Might be another old man on a dock further down also taking a head count and hoping they match at the end of the day.
