Fascinating! A guinea Pig can't run on a hamster wheel because of it fragile spine. Fredrick I thought you were just being lazy! Jasmine did you d what I suggested? yes, Mom! I did my research on Fredrick... I found out he's nothing like a hamster! Hamsters like a cage all to themselves, while a guinea pig needs friendship. Good job! we have a nice surprise for you! Look, Fredrick! My parents got you a buddy!

We rescued some infant squirrels after a bad storm blew over the tree and killed the mother. I could NOT get them to use the wheel. I’d put one inside of it and gently move the wheel a half turn, and the kit would hop out and get on the outside of the wheel, which would go backwards and dump it on the floor of the cage. They can be so clever about some things…
