The one on the English island can not be. Water seeks it’s own level. The water would go around the island at an equal rate. This one I do not believe.

My Grandmother had 3 months of schooling in her entire life. Yet she could correctly spell the word “victuals”. The army once had a “Victualling Department”. Yes, it is pronounced “vittles”, but it is spelled “victuals”.
