I wouldn’t worry too much, Ted and Gary have been doing this since they were little kids.

Will tomorrow’s strip be a prelude showing why they were carrying bags of flour to begin with?

    Bev!!

    Good to see you!

Hard to get along here without you….

I know it’ll be a while before you catch up…so just to help you out, I left the list of your unfinished chores on the bulletin board next to the Monkey’s private office here in the Tiki

(Not his Sheriff’s office downtown. Too public. )

I’m glad Bev is back. I haven’t seen Marguerite in a long time. I hope she’s okay.

Hmmmm…….two bags of flour all over the place…..that’s such a delight to clean up! I hear Sheila and Peggy are disgusted with their husbands and have gone on an all-day shopping spree, after giving them strict instructions to vacuum every inch of Gary’s house with a special filter in the ShopVac.

NOT one of Ballard St.’s better toons, in my opinion…

Yes, Brian. I think Susan knows Marge and can check on her. Leaky now only lurks (but claims to know Marge too).

    WELCOME BACK, BEV!

In my family, only my brother would do something so thoughtless as to throw something messy like flour or glass bottles/jars of catsup and mustard.

Welcome back beviek. This toon made me laugh because of an incident that happened to me many years ago. I watching my nieces for the day and it got real quiet. When I opened their bedroom door everything was white, and I mean EVERYTHING. They had taken a bag of flower to their room and were playing GHOST. I was mad at the time but I now laugh every time I think about it.

    Hi Bev!

Oh no, not that old rivaly over King Arthur vs. Gold Medal again!?

@ StelI hope Sheila and Peggy really treat themselves to to a Girl’s Day Out to teach those guys a lesson!

    @ Happy!I certainly wouldn’t mind trying a slice of Ted’s Haupia Cream Pie…

@ annette143Glad you liked the “Runaway Fridge” cartoon; I just watched the cute short, “Paperman”, that you posted at the end of Monday’s Ballard Street, too!

I just finished up a bunch of my breakfast bars (took out of the oven and sliced them up) and ran the dishwasher. My almost new food processor would not engage (no matter what I did – with all the beet root, orange and frozen cranberries) so I wound up using my old mini one in batches. At least I got it done. There are some days that I just have plain whole grain bread with breakfast just because I use them up so fast.I guess it’s OK, though with all my healthy stuff (fresh sliced garlic and a handful of hulled sunflower in my pasta, steamed spinach and fresh jicama slices with lime juice, and almond milk or V8).

    Oh, Bev!

A bit earlier today you said “Oh, great! A list of chores. Thanks for the wonderful welcome back!”

I was a little worried you wouldn’t like my surprise….

    I’m so glad you did!
