Yes, that saleswoman cracks in the second panel and looks totally nuts in that third panel.

I really think this strip is making fun of the ridiculous striving to stay young that we have today. We are constantly bombarded with ads for face creams and stories of 22 year olds doing botox. I think Cathy is deliberately being absurd to poke fun at the whole mess.

Fairytale life, in that she married the frog and he remained one.
What the heck is “creeping”? The thought of all this stuff going wrong is “creeping” me out.
Cathy, you can ditch that saleswoman, and in less than 1 hour, have an “affordable” Lifestyle Lift. It’s permanent. Even I can’t believe Linda is 70 years old!

Creping is the fine lines that form on the skin…like crepe paper.
