What “damn removable signs” do you mean, NG49? Don’t know about where you live; but where I live, the handicapped hangers that can be used in any vehicle are ONLY valid if the person in whose name they were issued is in the vehicle. I can’t just park in a handicapped space using my wife’s permit; it’s a significant fine if I do…just like it’s about to be for Lila, who I’m sure doesn’t have either a hanger or a license plate that would give her the right to use a marked handicapped accessible space.
On an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, Larry David confronted an apparent able bodied guy who parked in a handicap spot. The guy argued he was handicapped, because he stuttered.
OK you guys, the handicap placards are abused, we get that. That’s no reason to get all Postal on somebody over it.I mean, come on, they’re mostly empty in most places anyway, so obviously they allocated far more than needed.Sheesh, the comments here, you’d think we were talking about child molestation or something!
I have one of those removable signs, in name of my MIL (recently deceased). Naturally, I could use it only when I was driving HER – so, naturally, it has to be removable…

Playing dangerous…I wear a leg prosthesis and STILL get arguments over who is MORE handicapped. Vicious mothers won’t hesitate to key your car either.
